We had enormous fun at Blackburn Cathedral last night in a joint concert with our friends from Uganda Pearl of Africa Child Care Choir, the Cathedral Youth Choir and the Sixth Form choir. Here they are as you’ve never seen them before 😃
Yesterday the choir had the privilege of spending the day with pupils and teachers at St Thomas CE Primary and Nursery School in Liverpool where they led singing, dancing and drumming workshops and they ended the day with a special performance at pick up time! 🤩
Last night the choir gave the audience another spectacular performance at St Andrews Church, Maghull!
Yesterday the choir spent a wonderful day with Formby High School – a school that has developed close links with the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir over the years and are old friends. The evening concert was a fabulous celebration of music from Formby High School linked choirs- Mundo Africa, G Force and Voiceworks, together with the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir…..Absolutely magical and ended with yet another standing ovation!
🌟 Our thanks to everyone who contributed to a great day and evening, with special thanks to Mr Steve Cook, Senior Assistant Headteacher for pulling the whole event together 🌟
Monday brought another wonderful day, this time at Linaker Primary School Southport where the choir taught some African workshops to the students, filling the atmosphere with positive energy and enthusiasm ⚡️. The PTA even provided a KFC for tea which went down a treat!🍗 Thank you!
This evening the choir performed at Scarisbrick New Road Baptist Church, Southport….a fabulous evening enjoyed by all! Thank you to everyone who supported us today 🧡🇺🇬🧡

We are delighted to share that Auntie Annet, Managing Director of Molly and Paul Foundation will be in the UK later this month. After 3 years without a choir tour, the visit will be an opportunity to reconnect with supporters, volunteers and host families/venues ahead of a potential choir tour later in the year. We are also exploring new areas for the tour. If you would like Annet to visit your area or host Annet for a talk in your school or church, Send us an email as we still have a few slots available. Molly and Paul Child Care Foundation in a registered NGO Non-Governmental Organization founded by a Christian couple – Molly and Paul M Wasswa. They are the same people who formed the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir being supported by Pearl of Africa Child Care Ltd which is now a UK Registered Charity. This has been possible with the help of our friends in UK.
