Pearl of Africa Choir in Newcastle CE Primary School!

Huge thanks to Newcastle CE Primary School for hosting the choir yesterday and inviting two other schools within the Blue Hills Federation, Clunbury CE and St Mary’s Bucknell CE Primary Schools to join in with the workshops, which went down a treat with all of the students!
The day was finished with a sell out concert at Newcastle on Clun Community Centre where the choir received yet another, well deserved, standing ovation! Thank you so much to everyone who came along to support, the event was a huge success! 🤩

Pearl of Africa at Bishop’s Castle Community College

Thank you Bishop’s Castle Community College for hosting the choir yesterday and for a wonderful evening concert! We hope the students enjoyed the singing, dancing and drumming workshops and that the audience enjoyed the concert as much as we did! 🎶🥁🧡🇺🇬

POA at St Thomas CE Primary and Nursery School in Liverpool

Yesterday the choir had the privilege of spending the day with pupils and teachers at St Thomas CE Primary and Nursery School in Liverpool where they led singing, dancing and drumming workshops and they ended the day with a special performance at pick up time! 🤩
Last night the choir gave the audience another spectacular performance at St Andrews Church, Maghull!

POA at Formby High School

Yesterday the choir spent a wonderful day with Formby High School – a school that has developed close links with the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir over the years and are old friends. The evening concert was a fabulous celebration of music from Formby High School linked choirs- Mundo Africa, G Force and Voiceworks, together with the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir…..Absolutely magical and ended with yet another standing ovation!
🌟 Our thanks to everyone who contributed to a great day and evening, with special thanks to Mr Steve Cook, Senior Assistant Headteacher for pulling the whole event together 🌟

POA at Linaker Primary School Southport

Monday brought another wonderful day, this time at Linaker Primary School Southport where the choir taught some African workshops to the students, filling the atmosphere with positive energy and enthusiasm ⚡️. The PTA even provided a KFC for tea which went down a treat!🍗 Thank you!
This evening the choir performed at Scarisbrick New Road Baptist Church, Southport….a fabulous evening enjoyed by all! Thank you to everyone who supported us today 🧡🇺🇬🧡

POA at Standish St Wilfrids Primary Academy and Adlington St Paul’s CE Primary School!

A fabulous and busy day yesterday! The choir spent the morning with the wonderful children of Standish St Wilfrids Primary Academy and the afternoon with more wonderful children at Adlington St Paul’s CE Primary School!
Both schools loved watching performances by the choir – even the nursery came along! There were so many smiles everywhere!! Thank you too for the hearts! 🧡
The choir then joined the talented SING4FUN! community choir for our evening performance at Christ Church Parbold. It was a lovely evening with two standing ovations! It was quite a day!!

Our Next Choir Visit: Aunti Annet, our MD, is in UK

We are delighted to share that Auntie Annet, Managing Director of Molly and Paul Foundation will be in the UK later this month. After 3 years without a choir tour, the visit will be an opportunity to reconnect with supporters, volunteers and host families/venues ahead of a potential choir tour later in the year. We are also exploring new areas for the tour. If you would like Annet to visit your area or host Annet for a talk in your school or church, Send us an email as we still have a few slots available.
